A mountain frazione of Trevi township northwest of the town, it borders on the township of Foligno.
The antiquity of the settlement is attested by the placename harking back to a Roman landowner, as well as by numerous fragments of ancient artifacts scattered throughout the area.
The area is characterized by chestnut woods, although they are much less extensive than formerly: the growing of chestnuts has been abandoned.
The principal medieval monuments are the ruins of the church and abbey of S. Stefano and the little church of S. Martino.
